I'll tell you. A lumberjack is a person who works in the forest cutting wood.

Do you want to be a lumberjack when you are older? What do lumberjacks do? Do the obtain natural resources or manufactured resources? Do they work in the primary, secondary or sevice sector?

A teacher from New York in Zurbaran

Students from level 4 in Zurbaran had a very special visitor two weeks ago: Isabel.

She has got a Spanish name but she is from very far away, she comes from another country, other huge country, from the other side of the Atlantic Ocean, from another continent... Can you guess?    Yes, of course!.

Isabel was born in the most famous city in the United States and probably one of the most important cities in the world, NEW YORK. 

New York City is located on one of the world's largest natural harbours and consists of five boroughs :  The Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island . Isabel was born in the Bronx, lives in Manhattan and a park near Brooklyn is one of her favourite places in world. So we can say that she knows the city very well.

There are 8,175,133 people  living in New York and as many as 800 languages are spoken in the city, making it the most linguistically diverse city in the world. Can you imagine living in a place like this?
